Question about my cat.
I found this persian cat today roaming around the forest around the back of my house, so I decided ot feed it and it followed me into my house. All it's hair's messy though and in knots and it probably has fleas so I've decided to cut off all it's hair.
I've tried scissors but it's taking to long, so here's the question:
How should I shave my cat?

this post has been devoted to procedures regarding the curing of a CAT suffering a bad hair week.
Cats dont equal people so you shouldnt compare this situation to its human counterpart. Humans infested by flees should get much differnent treatement from cats experiencing the very same thing.

Huh? Scissors? This is a CAT!Pyro wrote: I've tried scissors but it's taking to long
I really don't think it would appreciate being hacked with scissors. Unless its mangy and scabious i would recommend a flea shampoo, a fur comb, and flea collar and next time remember CATS DON'T TAKE KINDLY TO SHAVING!

well...cat's do have a hearing that's up to 10 times more sensitive than ours, and electric razors DO make a hell of a lot of noise, so maybe this isnt such a good idea after all.
I'd say you should apply to the nearest vet whereas they are specialized in treating pet's such as your cat and thus will know what to do best.
