I've finished both games more times then I can count. (As I'm sure most of the people here have.) Yet, I've always done this on the standard difficulty mode. However, I installed Fallout again as my need to revisit the wasteland grew too hard to ignore. This time, I desided to try the game using "rough" combat and "hard" overall game difficulty...
I'm about half way throu the game now, But I've not noticed that many differenses.. The one I DID notice was that there was a Rad Scorpion guarding the entrance to Vault 15. Anyone else thats seen any other differenses and would like to point them out? Btw, I realize this is the FO1 forum, but if you've seen something like this in Fallout 2 don't hesitate to point this out as well. Thanks!
Difficulty sliders...
ive seen that rad scorpion before, and then never again. hmm... guess i had it on hard dificulty the first time i beat it.
i need to try it on hard, but eh... my cd got all jaked up by this air freshener used to cover up the liver smell of baking dog biscuits. i know know that it is better to leave cd's face up, damn air freshener... heheh

I think the radscorpion appears with regards to the time of day, or it could a roll. I've gotten it playing through on all difficulty lvls.
As for changes, I assume it'd change around rolls for damage, enemy criticals, and increase required stats for certain quests (like speech for getting Tandi out of the camp...etc).
