i never did honest work quests. all my work usually involved shoveling bodies, like lloyd and all of the mob leaders in new reno.

5% speech. You need to shovel crap 5 times. It's great actually as it'll take you 5 days but you'll get the 500$ too. Note that you'll also be scorned in Broken hills if you do so.

Broken Hills is a rough place. Either you get scorned for being Francis' gimp, or you get scorned for shoveling crap. Then again, as soon as you stop Jacob and his conspiracy, everyone only talks about that.

not really. i solve problems with 2mm EC, not words. i also like the m60. after i wiped out the stuttering dude in vault 8, the guards attacked me. i ended up taking out about 4 vault city-ers out. take that mofo!

Well, the money and exp comes in handy despite the decrease of reputation in Broken Hills, which I believe is possible to achieve the idolized status even if you shovel crap. I may be mistaken, but my stupid character never got to shovel crap and therefore couldn't get the perk. Or something like that.

I heard of some people who could only shovel crap once. I don't remember the specifics about it.

Reputation doesn't matter at all in the game anyway so I figure might as well leave hated but with all the exp/stats possible...

Shovelling crap leads to no exp, just extra speech skill which in my book as well worth specially wioth a 500$ bonus.
