Totally wicked random encounter!
I just had the craziest random encounter in FO2!
You know those random encounters where the staus window says "you hear sounds coming from the cave"??
Well, I decided to check every single one of those caves I could find, and after killing hordes of mutated mole rats and deathclaws I stumble upon a cave filled with people wielding YK72 Pulse Rifles and wearing Combat Armor!
Needless to say, it took a lot of tries to clear that cave, but after I was finished, I had 36 Pulse Rifles and 5000+ micro fusion cells!
Lucky me...

I asked Tim Cain to put a burst-fire rocket launcher in Arcanum, but did he listen to me?Kashluk wrote:Never really liked the bazooka. Propably because ammo weighted tons and it was only available on single shot (why can't a man have an auto-fire rocket launcher???)
No, he didn't!
But he put in a lot of other cool guns...

I got one of those with a cave full of guys in combat armor packing either gauss rifles or super cattle prods. The annoying part was none of my melee characters could equip the super cattle prod, which had a better damage rating than the super sledge.
<annoyed> EQUIP THE BLOODY CATTLE PROD SULIK!!!! </annoyed> <Homicidal>.....
Well, we all know where things went from there.

I'm not evil, I just like making things explode

damn, now I have to go and play Fallout 2 again. I never knew about those guys in the cave. apparently I missed alot when I went thru the first time. The best encounter I got was the Federation Shuttle one with the hypos. better than stim packs.

I got a stange little encounter where I came across a large rock with a hole in the middle of it and when I walked through it I was transported to the third level of vault13. The only way I could get out was by fiddling with a computer which would break the water chip. After I did that I was transported back to the rock.
It was called the Guardian of Forever.
