Car Trouble

I found the car part for Smithy so I could buy the car
I got the extra part from the Rat King area
I've been to NCR to get the blower business taken care of
I've done some searchs on this forum and am confused as to more upgrades and where
Also how do you fuel up the car
As far as I can figure I can move stuff in/out the trunk and click on the car to travel
How do I charge it up and any other relavant details?

Put the Micro Fusion Cells into your inventory and click the "use item on" option on the car. If you do that two times, the car wil be fully charged.

You get an extra upgrade from T-Ray, but only if you pay him.
Also you can use small energy cells to fuel up the car too.

But if you won't let your car be stolen, then you can get the flying pods after the endgame from T-Ray.

Sorry, flying => hovering pods. The car goes something like 200% faster. I dunno for sure, 'cuz I haven't done it before. But I heard it's possible. After you've defeated Horrigan, that is.

As mentioned you're missing T-Ray's upgrade.
The hoverplates story is true, however it's mostly pointless, since to get them you need to have FINISHED THE GAME...
It's just another easter egg to me... I'd much rather updrade it during the game...

Thx again is the second uprade after endgame a bug or a real easter egg?
Not that it really matters but kind of sucks big time though

It's an easter egg. But to obtain it, you must NOT have the first upgrade from T-Ray. Or have your car stolen in the first place. You have to get it after completing the game, without ever visiting the Chop Shop.

You only get the car stolen if you parked it just outside of the Cat's Paw right?

Yeah... so you leave the car somewhere, enter the town and another area and then you can return to the town in that area instead of the normal entrace...
