Cant stop gambling!

I thought about this while playing some table game at becky's in the den, in which case i couldnt leave the conversation, there just was no [leave] option in sight. i figured that that would be an obvious error that would have been more known...

The question is, does anyone actually gamble in fallout? the tables are there, nearly in every city, and yet, it always seemed so useless. by the time you could make good money from it IF you took it as a skill there were many other ways to do so.

If I do gamble, it's only in The Den, at Becky's. Because over there it's a lot more interesting than the rest of the Bet $10...Bet $50...Bet $100 stuff.

Haven't seen the missing [leave] yet myself... figures?

apparently my own confusion caused my no not realize how to leave, apperently you have to play for a few rounds or so for it go to the home screen of the conversation. although my stupidity involing the complex gambling system is partially the reason for this post, The question still stands and i personally have not gambled properly, or ever will in fallout

Gambling's good if you're lazy ass mofo (like me) and want to have an easy game in the hardest difficulty setting. Just tag it from the beginning and gain a bit over 100%. Around 102-105 you should be able to make infinite money. Just go to play dices and hold down button 1. Voilá! There you and your 99999 gold coins go...

If you don't stop gambling you'll end up like those homeless people outside of Las Vegas. Also God'll hate you. Or thats what my church said.

Well, I usually get enough money selling weapons and stuff(I collect everything that looks pricey). You can steal or find all the best weapons/armor in game, manufacture your own stimpacks so all I ever needed to buy was ammo. Of course you can find some nice stuff from shops, but it's up to you if you wante to waste your money on them. I think gambling is pretty useless, but if there would be a decent gambling interface with poker and roulette tables it might actually be fun...

Yeah, well in my opinion Gamblings way too easy. It's like a money-making machine, with no limits. The poor, dying town of Redding supplied me with an infinite amount of money to buy all the weapons and armor I needed. Then why didn't they use it for their own good? :-/

Pfft, in Fo3 they should either dumb the skill or make it much harder & limit the amounts of profit in Gambling.

Reminds me of Got That Feeling - Faith No More
"Have a drink
A pot of coffee, cannot think
Too many friends here, just an inch
Between striking out and striking rich, just a risk
One I'll take and take again..."

They should kick you out for such high winnings. Also, the Casinos should have a main safe or something that you can rob.
