If you would change something in FO2, what would it be?

I think I would change the Brand names. I prefered FO's style of not completely associating with nowdays in this area.
Also I would prefer to see less technology. I missed characters like Tycho. I would make some plots involving their story after FO.

Yes, that would be nice. Anyone remembering which where they? I think there were two(to my knowledge) of them.

I would change the level of tech that is in the game, put in the missing locations, and finish the quest left undone.

Flamescreen, is that picture for your profile from Escape Velocity? if it is that was the only Mac game I've ever played, and ever will play. If there was some thing I could change it would be to have more options and ways to get money (durg dealer, pimp, gang leader) 8O

No, it's a proposal I had for the admins for rank signage.Unfortunately they seem to not be interested in it. Would the game you're describing have any resemblance to "Wasteland"? Unfortunately I never used a Mac.

If i could change anything about Fallout2 ? I'd make it longer, seeing as we're not likely to ever see Fallout 3.......

Well I would change the types and amount of weapons in the game. In FOT there's alot of handgun, but in FO2 only a few. I would also put in a weapon reloading animation.

I would do the following:
1) Remove 90% of the easter-eggs and movie-references.
2)Remove all real-world weapons and insert general ones like the hunting-rifle and the likes.
3)Add the Abby, the Tribal Village and the research-facility that were left out.
4)Remove the talking deathclaws, sporeplant, etc. I hated the way all the evil creatures suddenly got all nice'n fuzzy.
5)Enable all the the endings, thereby including the shuttle-interior map.
6)Not release it until all the bugs were fixed.
7)Include Suliks sister.
8)Include a door for the useless key-card found at the verti-bird crash-site after the patch.

Nope, you need to lockpick it with an electronic lockpick set.

1. Longer range, more damage, better armor penetration by 7.62mm weapons.
2. The ability to carry more crap in the car if you carry fewer or no passengers.
3. Defeating the Enclave is not really the end of the game, you have to play through helping New Arroyo get started. You could begin this by donating your surplus guns and ammo for the town militia, and stopping disgruntled residual Hubologists and Enclavers.
4. Change AP ammo so that it is worthwhile to use.

1. I want my Stealth Boy......
2. NO real world guns manufactured past 1950

You wanted to say the old GSI DAC I guess. Just a technicality, but I thought I'd clarify, in order for new users not to get comfused.
Btw, nice site, you got there.

After replaying it recently, the first thing I'd change would be the timeframe in which they had to create it. When you make a game in a year, it's evident--sure, the game was bigger, but that made for a thinner plot (tell me honestly you never got stuck not knowing what to do at all) and those notorious unfinished quests. Bugs need to go as well.
I liked the fact that the radically harder combat made you NEED to pick up some allies, but I would've toned that down a bit as well as it sometimes got a tad ridiculous. Furthermore, I agree with Slider. Any "real" gun created after the '50s ought to have some sort of fantastical name attached to it.
The Temple of Trials? Make it optional. Make the whole village of Arroyo optional. It sucked ass.
