Hmmm, something looks different

Post by Kreegle »

[ -> N/A]

I don't know, I can't quite put my finger on it... but does something look different?

Oh yeah, that's it... we've got a new design! With polls! And a picture of the week! Oh my!

A big thanks to Killzig, Malachlite and Soulfish for putting this all together!

Nifty. Are there going to be any changes to the forums?

I don't think so - if you'd like a change, you could always pick a new board style :)

Oh, this is like.. confusing and stuff. With the sidebar shifted to the other side.... but looks nice =).

And it seems that Dogmeats little workshop is far ahead in the nifty new polls.

Thumbs up!

And I see that Dogmeat Teaches Typing is leading the poll for Most Anticipated PA Game w/48% of the 25 votes.

Might I suggest a secret link to different PA sites in the Fallout Shelter gif?

I definitely prefer it over the old design, but it could be a lot better. The pic of the week thing should be anywhere else besides the center. Have links to the Forums in the middle next to Headlines. I'd also like to see 2 sidebars rather than one long one. I used to make websites for people and learned the most compact and easy to navigate sites are the best. Also, textures aren't that important but they look kinda plain.

The new DAC looks good. If you're gonna change the site why not aim for great?

Well, we poor sods with 800/600 don`t see the sidebar. Oh gloom, oh despair...

It looks fine though, good work (now that 800/600 thingy could be fixed right? )

I was thinking that the sidebar would be added later. Looks like I'm in the same boat w/you...and my piddly 800x600 display...on a 15" monitor...

My 1024x768 display on a 19" monitor can only barely see the very left hand edge of the sidebar so it's not just you guys with the small screens.

Heh, i just gotta scroll over to see it, but i like the look a lot - just because its refreshing. I think though, it might be a good idea to shrink the size of the news table and the header up top a bit, so that theres more room for the sidebar.

Who the hell does 1024x768 on a 19" monitor? Go up to 1280x1024, Requiem.

And OTB, 15"... I'm so sorry.

Not with my eyesight, I'm sitting 18" away from the screen and still have trouble reading some of the type. I'll be using 640x480 all too soon. : (
