Is it possible to play as differnt races in single-player???

I was wondering if it was possible to play as differnt races in single player, not were you get to pick them but where you can create a character and make them a Robot, Reaver, Deathclaw, Ghoul, or a Super Mutant??? I think this could be accomlished with changing some directories and folders. Can some one please help me??????????

There's a races mod available, either here or at NMA. It replaces the six prefabs for supermutants, dogs, deathclaws etc. Or you can create your own prefabs, check out JJ86's tutorial or the tutorials here at DAC under Editor Resources.
