I don't know either. Do sector files have anything to do with FOT?

#2.I recently downloaded a photo pack, how do i get them to work??
Depends on the photo pack and the way it was packaged, etc.. It should have a readme with it explaining how to use it.

#3.how do you manke an ENT file???
With the entity editor. There are lots of different entity types you can make. Maybe you should check out one of those spiffy editor walkthroughs that someone will post a link to shortly... <waits for it>

#4. Is the level editor on the new 1.27 version patch???
Yes but you'll have to extract some files according to the instructions. When extracting entities for editing purposes you should put them in a seperate folder from your core folder if you still want to play multiplayer without going out of sync. You can also just reinstall the patch after extracting the entities to reupdate any entities that were replaced with the unpacking.

All zar portraits should go in the core/locale/gui/images folder I think.

and you need to make sure the field 'display name' in the entity editor is the same as the filename - at least thats the only way i got portraits to appear

small portraits should go into core\gui\char and the big ones (for prefabs) core\gui\char\big and after that you have to add them in core\tables\ male/female/ghoul/robot/dog/deathclaw/mutant.txt according to what race they are. the orginal portrait lists you can find in entities.bos
