The biggest problem with Fallout was, that it was very hard to create mods for it, IanOut tries to solve this problem, an easy way: this game is really an engine, that uses the graphics from the Fallout2 CD, and the others files can be created/edited with a simple text editor, and the Level Editor, which is also included.

The project currentlz is in the first public beta state.

For me it does work. I know of people, who are not me, but they could download the game. Oh well, I try to upload the whole program to an other site.

Are you sure the link is correct? Shouldn't there be a file extension for ianout?

I think tar.hu is not working outside of Hungary, so here are the new links:

http://galileo.spaceports.com/~ianout/
http://www.extra.hu/IanOut
http://www.tar.hu/ianout

I HOPE that at least one of them works. If not then please send me a reply.

The first one works at least. I don't know what will come out of this, but we shall see.

Are you good in english grammar? That part of the game needs HUGE fixng :)
As well as the skill system. Unfortunately I don't know how the system of FO works, so some information about it would be very needed.

There are a lot of people who could possibly help with the skill system. I think OnTheBounce and Red would be among them. Of course you could turn to Killzig or other Administrator, but Killzig visited here more lately.

I've found a bug in the beta version, the colours in the game are very strange (like if it was 256 colours) i don't know why, but it makes the game unplayable because you can hardly see anything.. anyway installing and running and everything went smooth.. and yes i can understand if there's alot of bugs, because it's just a beta version.

Great work!

The files are now ready for download on NMA, maybe you could ask the fine people here on DAC to host them too. there are a lot of guys who know everything about Fo skill system, the names mentioned beeing real experts, and you probably find information on the Fo bible as well.

Odin said from NMA that I could host the whole site on NMA. But I'll ask DAC too.

Help! Do you know the names of the creators of mapper2? Unfortunately their homepage is in russian, and the translator isn't very good in translating names.
