Can you do the Vault 13 quests

like the water thief even if you DO have the water chip but have not turned it into the Overseer yet? I forget :cry:

Uh, yeah, I think. Last I checked they only counted as done when I handed the chip over.

Do you mean, being able to do the actual quests, completeting it normally, instead of getting it striked out by handing over the waterchip?

Yup. and you can do all the quests even when you have the water-chip, but once you hand it over, V13 settles down again, unfortunately...

I think that you have to have less than 100 days left in order to get the Water Thief quest.

I got it the other day. "You earn 500 xp for quelling Vault 13's revolutionary faction" or something such.

Perhaps this is true, but i'm also almost certain that when you have really not much time left, you can't complete the revolution quest. They simply leave the vault and are no longer there.I think that you have to have less than 100 days left in order to get the Water Thief quest.

the water thief is entirely different
