NOW he tells me.

Can't remember the guy's name, but he's one of the science guys in the Shi palace. The one who you need to get the oil for the tanker from.

He says he'll need a suit of hardened power armour and that I'll need to get it from Crocket, the only guy I left alive when I waded through the Hubologists, pulse-rifle a-pulsin'.

Thing is, I go back to Crocket, and he just begs for his life. I've got no intention of shooting the f**ker, but I only get the two dialogue options, now:

Bye
Die

Please don't tell me I've come all this way to be stopped by this...

A spoiler for you.

HIghlight go to the tanker and talk to the technician. he will hack into the Shi computer and transfer the petrol. You will have to do a quest for him though.. end highlight

shouldn't be a problem though - since you destroyed the hubologists you should be able to transfer oil from the shi master computer.

if you play an evil game, get the oil before you join the hubologists and kill your 2 sources of fuel-- badger and the shi computer... and always save in more than 1 slot

I think you can also get oil from the Brotherhood of Steel if you retrieve the Vertibird plans for them...just get your IN under 4 before you give the plans to Matthew.

if your really dumb, usually people are nice enough to do things for you, heheh.

but in fact, it all boils down to haveing the Shi computer intact, because otherwise they will say something like "their system isnt responding"
