This is really embarressing...ive finished the game many different times but ive always completed it the same way when it came to the Oil Rig. Instead of covincing that scientist guy to start a meltdown i convinced another scientist guy to released the virus into the air vents...now i dont know what to do. Ive never managed to 'stop the machine that makes the power' as the Elder says and so i dont know what im doing next
Little help?

Plant exploseives near the counsol after the scientsts die from the virus.

Half the time I can't convince the guy to release the virus, so I have to plant the explosives on one of the scientists, the go back upstairs.
Of course, that makes the game crash fifty percent of the time.

Both scientists are dead. I super stimmed one and bombed the other and the blast doors still havent opened...
Any more advice?

You're not supposed exactly supposed to bomb the scientists, just the computer console that the middle one is standing in front of.

yes, there are 3 concoles infront of the big comp. and you simply but a ticking bomb between 2 of the concoles and things should go boom and you´ll get 10000exp. points YAY!

don't be jerks!
I've anded the game at about 10 or more times. i've never get stucked at that place!
release the virus than plant a bomb to the central consol while you you sneak (or not!)
than get the heck out of there!

i usually go with the all out killing spree... or a silent death... ( super stims and the FEV in the air)

I find the "bomb da console & shoot everyon" method more satisfacting.
