i just got to thinkin... lots of stuff is hard coded, such as perks...

but lots of the perk shite are simple values (such as bonuses to barter)... so wouldn't it be conceptually easy to change these values with a hex editor?

If you're willing to spend the time tracing it in assemblky, then sure, it should be possible... But most people with reverse engeneeing knowledge will probably deem this somewhat a waste of time...

i know you can use a hex editor to change the traits.. (what u chose each time u go up a level.. (every 3 levels or what ever it is))

but i only know how to do it with online chars.. (i was bored so i spent a day looking into it :D)

oh.. (addition to what i wrote up there ^^^^^^)

no i dont use hexed chars.. i believe in playing the game the right way.. if you were meant to play the game via cheating then you would have gotten a book with the game telling you how to hex / cheat in FOT..

cheating is a wast of time.. :D
