Re: spell memorization in ToEE?
Umm spells will be handled in the same manner that they are in 3ed. D&D?vanillat wrote:does anyone know if you'll have to memorize spells in ToEE-similarly to Baldur's Gate?

Sorcerers and bards do not memorize spells under 3E rules. The price for that is limited spell selection. In a way, that makes them more flexible - they do not have to consider which spells they will need in the following day, since they do not have to prepare them. But it also makes them less flexible - if they don't know a certain spell, the only way they can cast it is from a scroll. Whereas a wizard could just wait a day and memorize the appropriate spells...
