A lot of the screenshots give the impression that you can fly a helicopter. The STALKER team have said countless times it won't be an option.

Maybe their doing a interplay, anyway this game seem to look better everytime I see a new screenshot.

That poster reminds me of some Blood/Blood 2 artwork, with the shotgun and all, very caleb-like.

You know, a lot of devastation's screenshots lead me to believe that the game wouldn't suck ass. :( better call the better business bureau

That's life I guess. And I wouldn't be too surprised if all the pics were doctored, but what can you do?

anyway, anybody who hasn't done that yet: check out max res. screenshots at the official site and whole lotta goodies at oblivion-lost. for links see forum/stalker/links
Oh, and I recommend downloading the 'fan-pack' (or something, not sure bout the name) - many pictures of the Zone not included in the screenshots.

since I'm Polish, please pardon a lil bit o' advertising Polish games: "Chrome" is comin up and it's gonna have some nice things like char. development through nano-implants (not all of'em 'nano'), but I guess it may suck in some other respects. anyway, u may consider havin a look at gemospot's preview of the (possibly) most anticipated Polish game of last years: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/chrom ... 25485.html

Chrome is definately on my watch list along with Stalker. (What is it with eastern europeans and great looking 3D engines?) This game could have huge market if it predates Halo on the PC (if that's still being ported to the PC.) I always like seeing devs making their own engines rather than just licensing Epic or iD tech.

you should check out some of the movies on their site. they really show that their engine works miracles.
