Problem w/Lenny the Super Mutant in NCR

After smashing Lenny's head like fine china in the boxing ring to impress Merk, the game doesn't transition my character out of the ring and I'm stuck there.
Anyone know a fix for this?
Thanks.

Typical boxing bug though admitably this one is so unkown it might actually be another recurrent bug.
My advice would be to try the fight again, and avoid saving/loading while in the fight as much as possible as that's what seems to trigger bugs.

I'll give that a try.

the best bugs are in sanfran, when you end up fighting like 5 guys + lopan/dragon at the same time.
ive had that happen twice now, i dont really know how i got it screwwed up that bad though... heheh

Did they just walk through the ropes? Id that's the case, it might be because the program forgot to place those secret blocking hexes (!) all around the rope so that they could come in... But then again, that should also allow you to run like like hell, so...

Well, every single time I got a bug personally it was because of a save/load screw up personally.
Notice how you get a free turn between rounds? If you save there it's perfectly safe since when you load the opponent doesn't return into attack mode.
There is another thing which often triggers it, which is "finishing" the opponent.
So if you
a) Don't finish the opponents
and
b) Only save in the free rounds
The bug will NEVER trigger. Although it's often handy to trigger said bug as then often the match finishes in 1 round and you don't need to actually fight anyone

Nah, the trick is that the one you have beaten stays in the ring, and another opponent appears too. Pain in the ass, fighting 3 of them is really annoying. I didn't know that saving affects this so I had to kick their asses at once in a couple of games.

As I mentioned though, if you use that extra round you're given when you win to save, it's perfectly fine.

What´s this boxing match with Mutant-Lenny you are talking about?

You can fight him in the bar in the NCR Bazaar (or whatever that location is called). It's not very fair as he's armed with a Power Fist (you can get it from him if you knock him down). I guess I never really finished this quest because of a bug, I couldn't get out of the ring after I killed him. :x

You have to talk to Lenny (it's not really a dialogue) and then talk to Merk. It's one of the ways of proving yourself to him if I remember correctly.

I´ll guess i´ll try that out... ivé never heard of this beofre so it should be fun. I´ve read the posts about the bug so i´ll take it easy..

I think it requires <4 INT though. I know normally you don't get that though I don't remember the specifics.

Ah, something Stupid. I should consult Per Jorner's walkthrough about this.

I'm sure you can fight him with normal intelligence. Maybe you can have a full-scale conversation with Lenny only when you're stupid, but it's not required to fight.

Yeah
One option is to fight Lenny the super mutant alone in a secret basement, limited to these weapons: Knife, Spear, Sledgehammer, Rock, Crowbar, Brass Knuckles, Super Sledge, Ripper, Cattle Prod, Spiked Knuckles, Power Fist, Combat Knife, Sharpened Spear. To get this you must have "talked" to Lenny at least once. To make it a lot easier you could steal Lenny's Stimpaks and Power Fist before the fight. Mira gives you a Booze if you talk to her afterwards.
and
Don't save the game during your fight with Lenny, since if you have to reload you may be stuck in the ring after you kill him. The same bug apparently plagued the ring fights in New Reno and San Francisco in the unpatched version. Although the readme says they're fixed I would still advise against saving during any ring fight.
Thank god for Per.
