Fallout Enforcer spoogy preview at HomeLAN Fed
<strong>[ -> Preview]</strong>
<A href="http://www.homelanfed.com/">HomeLAN Fed</a> pimps up a <A href="http://www.homelanfed.com/index.php?id= ... preview</a> of <A href="http://www.interplay.com/fbos">Fallout Enforcer</a>, including some <i>spectacular</i> design features incorporated in the the title by <b>TEAM CHUCK</b>. Features so wonderful, they had to be jam-packed in to one <i>exciting</i> paragraph:
<br>
<br><blockquote>During our play time we not only blasted our way around the levels but also got help from some AI teammates as well. Brotherhood of Steel uses an auto-targeting system that should make firing weapons a bit easier to handle. After enemies fall you can pick up items from their bodies such as health, ammo, better weapons and ammo. The game also has a number of destructible items in the levels that will yield other items.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>So, it's an action game where aiming is done for you? One where you get to break open every crate to find more <i>ph4t l3wt</i>?
<br>
<br>So, basically, imagine <A href="http://www.interplay.com/falloutbos">Fallout Tactics</a> dumbed down further with that ever so lovely over done design feature of crate-loot stalking.
<br>
<br>Thanks to <b>Rosh</b> of <A href="http://www.nma-fallout.com">NMA</a> for the tip off.

Heeeey! What else could you expect from the rather corrupt HomeLAN fed guys? Theyre taking bribes to write good stuff about games! DONT TRUST EM!

Whenever I read something written by Chuck Cuevas(Satan?), I find it amazing how utterly stupid he is. At times it seems like he is purposely pissing every Fallout fan off. Things like "load up your akimbo DEs". If he played Fallout for longer than 3 seconds, maybe he would actually know a thing about Fallout at all. He's done absolutely nothing remotely smart, he hasn't improved FOBOS one bit. He's actually made everything worse, and mostly done the exact opposite of what most people suggest he does.
Endure. In enduring, grow strong.

"Your player character is part of the Brotherhood of Steel, a sort of para-law enforcement authority that tries to keep the peace in this bombed out and radioactive world of the future."
I always think of wasteland law enforcement groups when I hear about the BOS! If the brotherhood won't save our village, who will?
Oh wait... that doesn't sound like the BOS at all. Oh well, at least the particle effects will rock, the colors are wastelandishly bright & I can cycle through hordes of mutant monsters & desert pirates! That is such a classic FO feel.
I'm going to go hide now. I need to learn to quit reading these things. They make me sick.

""Deja Vu All Over Again""
H-lan demo play'a:
It's like.....""Deja Vu All Over Again""............
........It's CHAOS ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!......DOO,doo,doo,doo,doo...POWER UP!!
The music and all are still hidin' back there somewhere, proabally where my 401k 'pin' number should be......
It's kinda like "The Last Remake of Beau Geste" also, or "The 3 Musketeers", each generation gets it's YOUNG STARS to walk through the
same scenery, chewing the lines of mercenary screenplays. Hoping for a
hit.
How many times can this son of GAUNTLET be redone to fill out some
coperate programers resume? Unless this is the definitive, absolute,
BEST ever interprtation of the immortal theme: run, shoot, run, grab stuff, and run!!!
Oh, and where is the moral superiority of the Sony Dual Shock PlayPad(tm) if one needs an AUTO target system to sort out the KILLS.
Sounds like good ol' button mashing and joy stick waggling to me,
"fun fo' da kidz"....
I SAW at the I'PLAY FOBOS FORUM a meaningful discourse on how the Dual Shock could fire one way while one ran the other; a meaningful, sensual, symbionic-transcendental experience....fo' sho'.
Hot to twitch? Yah baby!

I know I've seen this before, and you all know better examples, and I've made this comparison before, and forget for which "Forgotten Title".During our play time we not only blasted our way around the levels but also got help from some AI teammates as well. That's my guess considering how they talk about the BOS all the time. It's a paramilitary organization that recruits tribals and mutants and they go around killing raiders and mutants!Rosh wrote:Hooray for Dumbfuck Chuck in doing his research by playing FOT.
Clueless? You bet he is.
Nearly everything Chucky says comes straight from Fallout Tactics, not Fallout. What's even better is they're not even shooting anywhere near as high as Fallout Tactics did in terms of mechanics.

Which, if the moron even bothered to watch the intro, he would have known that the Fallout Tactics BoS were a completely different group. The BoS in their centralized area and in Fo2 were NOT like those in FOT.Saint_Proverbius wrote: That's my guess considering how they talk about the BOS all the time. Sweet. You mean it will go to a $4.95 price tag in just half the time of FOT?What's even better is they're not even shooting anywhere near as high as Fallout Tactics did in terms of mechanics.
