Ok what exactly do you have to do to get vault city NOT to invade and destroy Gecko? I've got the reactor part and optimized it. Do you have to ask McClure in VC to get the deal to sell power? And is there something to do with the fuel from broken hills?

fix gecko's reactor and don't tell vault city about it ... or something like that

Edit: Let's try that again & see if I can write in english this time.
Just fix the reactor & do not optimize it.
If Vault City is told the reactor is not only not leaking but optimized then Gecko gets enslaved.

I guess you could try taking out Vault City. Then they won't be able to invade Gecko.

You were supposed to get a Gecko VC reconcilliation ending if you gave the economic disk to McLure before you optimize their plant; but the endgame script is bugged so you only get to see the other endings.
