Critter attack sounds...

Post by Ed the Monkey »

Is it possible to change the sound of a critter attack, or is that hard coded? I tried to change the sound of the Komoto spew attack, but it didn't seem to make a difference...

I think thats because the base punch and kick attacks are automatically placed on a race, so if you make an entity with the race set to cockroach it will automatically have the cockroach attack in its weapon slot. Does that make sense..?

Edit: No it doesnt.. hmm. If you edited the base punch, it shouldnt make a difference I guess. Nevermind :/

Yeah, but I modified the Komodo spit and got what I wanted. I changed the sprite for it (kind of), but the sounds seems to have stayed.

You ought to be able to change the sound to any on the pull down list. If you want to add a new sound then you'll either have to over write the existing sound files or use BoSEE.
