Apparently Mac's have Fallout files as well!

Post by Kreegle »

[ -> N/A]

It's a bit strange, and all rather confusing really... but a young chap named Jona emailed me a bunch of times with... believe it or not... Mac-only Fallout and Fallout 2 files! I was shocked and more than a little distressed, to say the least! People play games on Macs!

For those of you who actually own Mac's, and play the Mac-versions of Fallout and Fallout 2, you'll now find we've got two new sections subtly slipped into our menu - a Fallout file section (with next-to-nothing in it), and a Fallout 2 file section, which is slightly healthier. If you've got any Fallout-related mac files, feel free to send 'em along... we won't bite, much.

Big thanks to Jona for the goodies!

Is there any official patch turned out for the Mac version of Fallout 1 and 2 to deal with bugs and there are quiet a few; someone tried to fool me and tell me otherwise.

Oh, tried the player editor, works Like a dream...

Viva Mac

FO3 better be done in synch with PC and Mac... No wait for fuckin' four years.

Hah, my most sincere condolences, Rama.

Anyways, looking over the readme for this thing, it looks kinda terrible. Quite a few silly changes.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Macplay

Post by 4too »

Macplay has published Mac version FO and FO2, need OS 10.

http://www.macplay.com/support/

Macplay has brief support discussion for FO, like the forced quit, three key gesture,to exit game to desktop. Have story about first Mac version FO too.

Also a patch for FO2.

Nice not having to have CD loaded to play, when traveling light.
Post 911 means arriving EARLIER for flights, tiny optic mouse the only accessory needed.(*)

(*)Touch pad too much like finger nails on slate chalkboards.
