I found another easter egg! I have to tell it to you to satify my needs even though you might have found it. An oil tanker, Namely the Exxon (That's the old Esso company) Valdez leaked oil into the sea near Alaska. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the PMV Valdez was also an oil tanker?
Exxon Valdez + PMV Valdez = Easter Egg

I think that's a given, it's too obvious to be a real easter egg. Perhaps "Valdez" is a certain affiliation or carries a certain meaning.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Yes, it is yet another easter egg.
We can't get enough of these, they deepen the setting so much.

Magic Eightball is in the pooltable on the second floor in Bishop's casino.
Not sure about where the easter egg is though, never found, but I never really looked either.

The real easter egg is indeed in Algernon's basement. It's pretty hard to find, but I think one of the bibles can help you if you are interested.

hmm isn't "Algernon" an easter egg for himself..?
From Flowers For Algernon, the guy who got really smart after an operation, but then gradually became dumber and dumber...
A mouse in that story is called Algernon because it had the same operation, with similar results..

I think originally it was supposed to hatch into an npc called (oddly enough) "Chicken".
"Science fiction wiggers" is my new favorite phrase.
"You'd better be prepared for the jump into hyperspace. It's unpleasantly like being drunk."
-"What's so unpleasant about being drunk?"
"Ask a glass of water."
