Hey gang,
I was replaying Fallout 1 and the thought occured to me - would it be possible to kill EVERYBODY, everything in the entire game?
I imagine you would have to start off good so you could get in to the Brotherhood to wipe them out.
Has anyone tried this? What sort of xp do you end up with? Karma?
Is it possible to kill EVERYBODY in Fallout 1?

Hopefully this will be moved instead of locked, cause I'm posting in it.
Yes you certainly can, except for random encounters. However, they don't seem to happen as often once you kill everyone.
I killed every npc in every town myself, with only melee weapons once. You aren't fucked for killing vault 13, you can kill everyone there and have no problem completing the game. Obviously you can't kill the overseer, but that happens at the end if you have bad enough karma anyway.
I do reccomend you use the motion sensor to make sure you've got everyone, and watch out for people running off the map, that's SUCH a pain in the butt, but it's definately doable.
Edit : As for getting into the brotherhood, I'm not sure if karma has anything to do with it, cause I remembered killing quite a few people before I joined up with them. Then again, all you really have to do is go start the quest early before you have killed lots, if it does check. Don't have any timelimit on completing it, so that's not a problem.
The brotherhood is surprisingly easy to take out, too. The weak spot is the eyes.

so the answer is prettymuch yes, because the overseer is the only guy you cant kill ingame. but if you do kill everyone your karma should be bad enough that you kill him in the ending scene.SuperH wrote:Obviously you can't kill the overseer, but that happens at the end if you have bad enough karma anyway.
