I wonder that in comming Fallout 3 will be place for ... clans ? if there will be a multiplayer that could be a good idea - what i have on my mind ? for egzample: guilds and something more, maybe buying some buildings and fight for areas to keep control of some clans ... what do You think about that ? (on Diablo that colud be possible but Blizzard go out from this idead)

Well first of all, multiplayer can only be a bad feature, unless it is entirely mindless (ie. a boxing ring, a casino or bar, whatever) and disjointed from the story. However, I don't see this happening - something as hyped as F3 is likely to deserve a more epic treatment, which in turn hurts the story and takes off time spent improving SP gameplay instead implementing MP functions.
On top of that, clans tend to make multiplayer elitist and stupid.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
Clan multiplayer in fallout could only ever be accomplished well if people could all have different katanas with user definable skins that would make it oh so very easy to tell the different clans apart.

Please, please, please no...
Multi-player fallout can only be a turn for the worse, and clans foster resentment.

I agree with the above comments, Fallout the RPG is not a multi-player compatible game (I don’t rate Fallout: Tactics at all).

Yes i think the same way as You but i was courious Your's opinion about that . In my forum (http://shamo.gr-online.pl/forum/) we have many controversions about that .
I don't think multiplayer done like the Baldurs Gate series would be all that bad for Fallout 3.
Ie. One player is the protaganist (Bhaalspawn in BG1, 'Chosen One' or whatever the main character is in F3) and the other characters (whoever else plays with the host) are childhood friends, companions, or just along for the ride.
They'd be the equivilant of an NPC, nothing more. I doubt that'd take much away from the development, regardless.

I don't think it should have any multiplayer elements, they're pointless, all it does is turn a perfectlty good RPG into gayass top down death-match greatest fuck-up ever. If you could somehow get people to play by the rules and actually do the game instead of fucking around and shooting everyone and everything in sight, you know that's what's going to happen, as cool as it would be to have a Fallout MMORPG we all know that it would suck cock like no other because we'd get cheaters and n00bs up the ass who spiff their character up to Jesus status, or kill everyone who looks at the cockeyed. Besides, Fallout needs a story, what the fuck kind of stories are there in MMORPG's? I've seen them and it dosn't seem like a lot, it's more of a simulation than a RPG, the Sims with guns and lightsabres it seems.
