I know I could have found this out myself by play testing, but I'm sooo lazy right now you guys, and I know we all browse through the forum anyway..... sooooo......
Anyway, I know you can shoot from a window, but can you throw things out of one?
I'm curious because there are ruined floor tiles that can be placed to look as if there was a big hole on the second floor. I'm thinking of using the make window tab, but I'm not sure it would work, or should I try the ethereal tab?
i want to throw a granade to an unsuspecting victim on a lower floor.

I think it should work, the physics of the game are fairly real. Let us know if it does.

Yeah it's possible, there was the mission where you had to rescue the hummer and these junkie civilians were up on the rooftops and in destroyed buildings throwing rock and molotov cocktails at me. Even though my squad generally has a policy of not killing civilians, they were spooked by the large number of armed raiders hidden in the buildings and let loose with a volley of automatic rifle fire. Needless to say the civs were reduced to multiple body-parts strewn across the rooftops.

You shouldn't have to flag anything here. You can make a hole in the floor w/the appropriate tile in some of the floor tile sets. The "E" (Ethereal) flag is automatically imported when you hit "Update Tiles". Remember that if you make the hole big enough so that there are tiles missing from the floor you should fill that gap with pink tiles to avoid having the roof-popping on/off erratically depending on where someone is in the room.

WB, you could look at my DD5 map for an example of what OTB's sayin'. The "lab" building (along the southern wall) has some holes in the roof.

You know, MV, I was searching through my archives the other day, and found info, on a certain RoboCentral Project. What's the story on that?

I answer that question in the "One quick note" thread in the FOT forum.
