We all have to go to a place called work where we spend 8-10 of our God given time getting bossed around by some from some snot nosed punk, just cause his dad owns the damn place. :mad: So what to you guys and gals do for a living and how do you like it.

Currently I'm unemployed, but I liked my old job... We were like one happy family who ate lunch we in the butcher and deli-department made not to mention all the parties we held... I worked in a super-market, btw

I absolutely love my job! It's just that from time to time I have stretches of a couple of weeks, where I have to work upto 20 hours a day. Like now. But I like it. What do I do? I'm in medical research.

i love my job! i'm the activities director for a non-profit community based organization. i work with a lot of youth and with a lot of freedom.

besides that, Activities Director just sound nice... :mrgreen:

I work in a supermarket, although the boss is a grumpy bastard my day was made today when i found out i got a pay rise of 18p!!!!! soim now on Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£5.30 an hour

As far as my studying... I don't friggin' care!!! Ok? I hate it!!! Ok? I hate my school!!! Well, it's not that bad, really, but teachers are kind of chewing through my nerves now...

Heh, I work in an evil soulsucking corporate hellhole, but soon I will be free!

As in I quit this week, and I finish next Friday. Then the wonderful world of unemployment awaits me.

i love my job for two reasons what i get on one hour in work that is the money my get after 4 hours and my dad is my boss so evrybody there will bend over for me because of phobia of my dad b.t.w. I work at a building site

At some time in your student-life you will be forced to start working. If you don't, you're pretty much screwed. Must say, I figured that out pretty late. My liver is wasted by now, as is my brain. Must also say 20 hrs a day is not all fun:(.

When I'm not being a happy student I work 40-hour weeks in a meat locker under a manager and his assistant, the combined IQ of which might rival that of a head of lettuce. The only bright side of my 2nd shift workday comes at around 6 PM, when the management has left for the day and I can sit in the back room and play gameboy until it's time to go home. If our meatsaw (think bandsaw with drainage trays bolted to it) worked I would butcher these boobs, sell their organs, and enjoy a happy blunder-free summer not spent in a 30-degree cold room.

I can say all these things about my work - it sucks, I hate my boss, I like it... To tell the truth I don't know. Sometimes I like my work, Sometimes I don't... Who can tell the truth? Anyway I choose 4.
