How do you turn on the windows xp firewall?
I heard that windows xp comes with a free firewall but how do you turn it on?
IRA all the way fuck the queen and the UDA we are the Bhoys from south of the border so fuck the queen and the orange order.
1. Open the Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Click on Network and Internet Connections in the Control Panel.
3. Click on the Network Connections icon.
4. Right-click the Internet connection you want to protect and choose Properties.
5. Click the Advanced tab.
6. Click in the little box in the Internet Connection Firewall section.
If you're on dial-up click the icon in the "Dial-Up" section. If you're on DSL or Cable, click the icon in the "Local Area Connection" section.
Frankly I would recommend Zone Alarm, it's free and much more powerful.
