bleeding

Post by MacBeth »

in F games i felt a great lack of bleeding, but you can change "poisoning" (due to it's seldom use) to bleeding, just set special damage for all weapons to "poison" (well not all i.e. except bludgeoning weapons like clubs, punches etc), you will have to change the perk snake eater to something more adecvate (i called the modyfied perk "blood clot"). the way to stop bleeding will be "poison antidotes" called bandages (you can make different kindes of bandages like big/medium/small)

Is there a way to cause profuse bleeding if a charactor suffers extreme damage? (ie, steps on a landmine, or is shot by a huge machinegun)

There could even be turniquits, they would do some damage later, and if possible, cause specific limb damage!

Also, the "large" bandages should be called pressure bandages or something.

good idea!

Good work, MacBeth.

Have you tried to see if you can make the First Aid Kit and Doctor's Bag also reduce poison levels?

i think the only way to do so that the char. bleeds on being hit by those weapons is to set them special damage to poison. i dont know no other way to make the char. bleed (there're no triggers like "poison char." or anything like that and i dont think there's any other place that we could set something like that) ... sorry that i wrote it so enigmatic but im not sure if i understood you correctly :)

again unfortunately no way to do that, only the "poison" damage

i tried unfortunately they dont. but still the fakits will be the only thing (if you limit stimpacks) to restore your hitpoints and doctors bag will still "repair" you limbs
