Female Wastelander - Tryout

Well I figured it was about time to make some fallout-y picture or at least wasteland-y...

Through this "Enforcer" period, it's clear that making an overly sexy wastelander isn't exactly popular, so I've tried to afrain from too much skimpy-ness..

Proportions and so on could use a lot of work, but I'm generally satisfied with the overall look and details as it is.

This is a part of me restarted training, I'm using the two books called:

Super character - Design & Poses, made by a japanese author who makes "downgraded" manga, or maybe more "realistic"...

Regardless, there are two editions, male and female, and both are very interesting, though it's more show than go.. not many tutorials in it.
There are CD-roms with both of the books containing all the pictures, which I think is a brilliant idea, because now I have something to practice my Adobe-PS skills on...

Just about all the parts of her are taken off various persons from the female-edition book. It took me about ½ an hour to sketch.

Not bad, guns look a tad large though maybe?

I can't read your signature (squints) but I'm sure your name is something I would find highly amusing.

not bad, but ur emphasizing outlines too much i think

don't go so heavy on the outlines, try to draw from within? that's what i was taught when i did 2 straight months of life drawing, sketching naked nude men/women of all ages.

Still, do more, it's cool.

That's about the only thing I didn't copy xD
I had no idea what gun to place, putting a deagle there would be a bit too... cliché, so I thought what the heck and made a Judge dread Look-a-like...
God I love that gun.
*Double-slammer.* *Whiir* *Double-slammer. POW*

huh? And last time I posted a picture there was too little outline X_X Ahh wtf I'm still training...

Yup, the whole armor is completely impractical, basically she has her whole heart exposed there.
(Why do people insist it's on the left side? It's in the middle! *pointing* towards left with the larger arteries. Or at least that's what they said in the 1st aid course I had..!)

My reason is that if I'm going to do a babe, I'm doing her my way.
No pun intended...

Thx for the info's, I'll do a male version tonight.

Oh well, your guns are much better than a deagle, EH Killa-Killa? Personally I don't mind 'em at all, maybe she is just a midget who is using normal guns?

It's ok. The only real problem is that you drew her hair is 2/3, but her face is half. Uh, don't know if it makes sense in english.

nice drawing. but guardian is right about the face. try to draw the face from a 3/4 perspective instead of a profile. it's pretty hard but practicing on real humans usually helps. and if you're short on models u could always try mirrors.

...I didn't notice it until now, damn that *does* look weird...

Makes perfect sense. The angle or viewpoint is 2/3.... I haven't tried drawing a face at that angle yet.... =/ thx.

Well, I tried to add a kind of worn look to the armor, with the bullet-hole and all... Er, no she doesn't have a penis, but I had no idea how to draw her crotch without making it look like she had one... hence the loin-cloth.
She's making a fashion statement ;)
