Mr. Green's PM to me wrote:Okay, I screw Joey until the Sexpert trait. I go over to see mom, ask about haunted house, she points out Joey, etc.
I come back, he's not there.
Is he at New Reno getting more Jet, did something happen, or am I being a noob?
I'm not really well versed in Fallout 2.

What you've described is exactly what's supposed to happen, now take your tinfoil hat off.

Argh! I didn't want to polute the forum for such a potentially simple problem!

As far as I know, you don't. One thing you have to make sure of is getting the locket off of him before you sleep with him, although if I remember correctly, you can't sleep with him after you've gotten the locket from him.
Or at least, I never found him again after he pulls his disappering act, so I don't know where he is. So oh well eh?

Oh well. I'm already at Level 13 in in Vault City, so 1000 xp won't make a major difference, really.
Lockage?

I got a pm also heh. And the Fallout forums are here excactly for questions like these, so don't be ashamed of posting new threads.
There's no need to lock this thread, someone might want to ask something about it.

You screw him, he leaves, he never calls, you can't find him again... and you get nothing out of the whole deal at all.
And people say these games aren't realistic?

Yeah, this happened to me and I was hell cut (I was trying to do every quest possiible). You can screw him as much as you want as long as you don't go off screen and still get the amulet. All you have to do is fuck him then you'll both end up near the top of the map where you can kill him, loot him for the amulet and no one will care except his spear-wielding buddies.
