Duck and Cover

Is there a way you can prevent your NPCs from attacking slaves in random encounters. After I kill the slavers, then the fucking slaves run at me and my NPCs kill them.

And also I had another question. Do any of these items have a use?
pocket lint?
pot of daises?
radscorpion limbs?
sex toy found in oil rig?

And also where on the world map can you encounter "robbers" inside the caves that have plasma rifles, pulse rifles, ect. because I've only gotten this encounter twice, tis some really good loot. Thanks.

As for the slaves, I have no idea, but then I don't usually attack slavers on sight, so I wouldn't know anyway. The pocket lint is more useless, I don't know about the pot of daisies, the radscorpion limbs can be turned into a general antidote if you can just find the guy that will do that for you, and the sex toy... well, there is a ghoul somewhere who wants one.

I could be all wrong on all these though, I've only been through the game once and I still have a nagging feeling I spent most of the time trying to find my car.

The "Radscorpion Limbs" are useless. Those are the pincers. You were thinking of the tail, which Myron can indeed use to manufacture Poison Antidote.

The sex toy fetus is referring to is the Ballgag. That's another useless item, which only serves as a pop culture reference to Pulp Fiction.

I've never found a ballgag in the Oil rig. The ballgag is in Broken Hills, you get it if you lose to the supermutant (Francis?) in arm wrestling. He's probably referring to the blowup doll, which to my knowledge is useless.

About the robbers, yes it is good loot, but sadly it is random. There might be some minimum date requirement (placed for balancing issues, so you don't get sodomized by robbers when you're still using spiked knuckles and a pipe rifle). I'm sure there are certain regions you can get the encounter more frequently, but I don't know where they are. (I'm pretty sure it's just a random encounter, not a special encounter.)

About the slaves... If someone is hostile to you and moves to attack you, your party members will defend you even if it's just a slave who will probably get hurt flailing at your power armor... So no, you can't do anything about it, but why would you even want to? Sure your karma goes down a bit, but if you just killed a bunch of slavers, you should be positive from the whole encounter anyway

slave killing? Just be careful, and hope nothing happens to offend your NPCs / the slaves. God, what a shitty AI.

You don't need a sex toy for that custy old ghoul; instead, you need one of those blow up sex dolls (and some other stuff as well).

Question of my own: is it true that if you're a female porn star, you get a blow-up doll named after your character? I read that somewhere, and doubt it, but it would be amusing if that was a fact.

There was also Laura in the Cathedral, Nicole of the Followers of the Apocalypse, and Jain in the Hub. In FO2, on the other hand, the only two females were wizened old crones, one of which seemed to be suffering from some sort of pattern baldness...

There is absolutely no use for it. It's a deleted quest item, most likely.

If Tandi is 15 (and that's stretching it) in Fallout 1, shouldn't she be 95 in Fallout 2? If that's the case, shouldn't she be, like dead? I mean, I doubt that many people reach even 50 in the wasteland, no matter how many guns you've got protecting you. There's too many diseases and radioactive things and shit.

For those of you who didnt get that fish and rice part, the Japanese people are noted for thier longevity. Many people think its because of thier diet of mainly fish and rice. And yet they are also famous for their extremely overwieght sumo wrestlers. I tell you, they have an amazing culture!

When I eventually move to Japan, I might look into becoming a sumo. Until then, I'll stick with eating cow and cow products...Maybe a potato here and there.

The problem is, post WW2 Japanese culture is just a silly infatuation with Western shit

And their fish contains more mercury than a thermometer. Although I doubt they would eat their own fish, they' d probably ship it to our regions.

Edit: Hey wait a second, how can she eat fish and or rice as a normal every day meal. She's a good ways from the ocean and theres not really enough rain that could support rice fields. Ofcourse you could argue that caravans ship the fish from San Fran...I'm pretty sure its unlikely though.
