There's a room in Klamath, located in the building of the Buckner (where Sulik initially starts. But I wasn't able to unlock the door.
This is a small place full of crates and barrels.

Has anyone already unlock the door?

Offhand I can't remember what is in there but if you cant lockpick it or have jammed the lock you could always bash the door with a spear or crowbar & find out for yourself. All you have to do is stand next to the door, initiate combat & hit it. This does not work on all doors but should be just fine for that one & I don't ever recall having folk go hostile for the break in.

ITs quite easy to break the door, and there is one golden geko hide.

Sometimes the people do get mad if you break the door... But it must be a door that can't be picklocked in peace either. Somehow "flagged" or "targeted" door, that is precious to some NPC (like those twin brothers' house).

I finally unlocked the door, and I found a golden gecko skin :(

Donc tant pis !!!!!

Another question : Are the tragic cards useful in the game? I know Wooz the ghoul plays to it but is there anything else about these cards?

No, it's just for playing tragic, and making a reference to Magic.

I never had luck with smashing any doors with melee weapons, they "didn't even make a scratch" I should try this again.
although nades and explosives work on wooden doors.

Same here. Although last night I managed to smash the locked door outside the military base with a mega power fist.

Maybe it's only for locked doors?

I'm a cheap bastard so I usually go with unarmed or melee for the door smashing action.

It's possible to do with melee... and I guess with crowbar & sledgehammer the chances are better than with your bare fists.

Yes, for some reason it is better with bare fist than a sledge, but thats how it it.

I can never bust doors with crowbar or sledge... anyone have time to experiment?

Kashluk: how could you do it with unarmed?

Crowbar / sledgehammer works with only the occasional door. It's sort of random really, which is why no one bothers to really do it.

Just go into combat mode and hit the door.

My words exactly.
This isn't real world we're talking about, it's fallout.

Oh, and anyone noticed how hard it's to open those doors with guns? Only ones I've succeeded with are the rocket launcher and laser minigun.

All I gotta say is Klamath sucks. Even if it puts Oregon on the map.

I use a mega power fist to bust down doors.

And yes, Klamath was a dodgey place. Almost as bad as New Reno

I especially disliked it because it was early in the game. And I hate the early stages of Fallout games. You're so... vulnerable. Real cocksucker.

The middle part of the game is the best time, when you're hanging out with your buddies in your metal/combat armor, playing with your hunting rifle and drinking rotgut... Ach.

Anyways, if you get a message "Didn't do a scratch" it propably means there's no way you can knock that door down. That's the way it is.
