nearly desktop worthy my good fellow ^-^ pity they look a bit delicate/bubble-like and the lasers suck a bit and the grey bit in the middle

You realize that the spheres wouldn't look the same if it weren't for the lasers, right?
I like it, but it'd probably be better if you could link us the original.

Ok, to be more precise:
The laser "lines" or whatever, those bluey thingeys in the middle look a bit akward, but the reflection of the shperes is nice. You could replace the lasers with something more "sharper" and the reflection would still be cool.

Damn... I hear what you guys are saying and I tried to improve it, but it just won't look right, so I'm going to start a new project. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me? I'm trying to do more surreal abstract stuff, particularly with lasers, mirrors, prisms, glass balls, smoke and light, etc.
PS: I can make a realistic-looking laser, I just didn't in this picture for some reason.

"Sharper" as the spheres. The spheres are "bright", with sharp surfaces and reflections but the laser beams look blurry and not belonging to the picture.
And please make one of those more "realistic looking lasers". I bet it would look better than the one right now.
