Fallout Enforcer loved by TeamXBox
[ -> Review]
Fallout Enforcer gets a positive review from TeamXBox, earning it a 3.6/5 rating with such nice things as to say:

Overall, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is a solid RPG/action title worthy of accolades. The argument over this title will surely center on if this title is still advanced enough with a two plus year old game engine to hold up to other games within its genre. I feel that the answer is yes, but there are surely some improvements that could have been made. Since the game engine is directly taken from the Baldur?s Gate title it is hard for me to score this one high in the next-gen category or recommend it to those who have already been there and done that in Dark Alliance. Those encountering BoS without ever playing BG will definitely find some sweet RPG style gameplay and some nifty real-time action to boot. Whether Brotherhood of Steel seems dated or not is pretty much a moot point until something much better in the genre is released. Until then, pick your RPG/action flavor; medieval or post-apocalyptic.

Of course, if you want the real reason for the above, it's because TeamXBox are a bunch of content whores who host the official forums for the XBox version of the game. In fact, I think this thread speaks for itself:

We are proud to partner with Interplay to bring you yet another official game forum. In the upcoming third-person action adventure game, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, gamers will trek through a post-apocalyptic universe taking on wave after wave of enemies with a hefty collection of weapons and equipment.

Thanks to the Interplay we have several members of the development team that will be taking your questions to give you the skinny on everything Fallout related; so let 'em fly!

We are proud to write good reviews for things that might bring us loads of hits in exchange for any credibility people might assume we have.

Well, it's only natural that they have the official forums there. After all, Interplay got shit scared when an Interplay investor outside of Titus showed too much independent thought and found the forums the first time around.
Now this might seem like an insult to anyone who invests in Interplay, but it is. Anyone who is that stupid to have any amount of money and not do sufficient background information and can't tell that the company is about in Deep Shitsville deserves to lose that money.

Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!
They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

So are far as Interplay are concerned, http://forums.interplay.com really is a graveyard now? Neat! Amazing really. This has ot be the first time I've ever seen a company, with their own forums, have their official forums for a game hosted on another site.

You know, this has got to be so true. Role playing for him is probably choosing Sarge as his Q3 character.Forty-six & Two wrote:Because hes stupid and has propably never played a real RPG game in his miserable life.s4ur0n27 wrote:How can he review the game as an RPG as even the producers/developpers said it wasn't an RPG anyway?
