Need help with Awaken mod!!! Please!!

First off, I don't know if I put this thread in the the right section. If I didn't I'm sorry.

A.) Its the first mission, (which has a guy that melts-- running from the pit entrance.) To beat the mission I have to escape before the time runs out. The problem is that I can't use the ladder to escape/ or I don't know how to use the ladder. Any tips?

B.) Is it possible to use the savegame/character editor in the mod? I can edit the file and change the values, then save the values. If I go back to use the editor the values are exactly the ones I want, but while playing "Awaken" the values remain unchanged. Does anyone know how to fix this?

1. I don't remember how that went, I know you had to kill the guy or some such thing then the exit grid appears with a ladder or something.

2. You would have to make a brand new character editor because that one isn't set up for the mod, you would have to mod the editor. It's a bitch because I think that Awaken is a good mod, it's just really unbalanced, so Istopped playing it. I mean c'mon, where have toy ever seen a revolver weigh 10 pounds?

Does anyone know Where can I find all the parts for the train in the "silent trains" area. I found the reactor part already.
