Its pointless abnatha.... Look at all the Fallout 3 petitions and see what good they have done. If anything add your name to the existing ones instead of starting a new one.

And doing something pointless is? If people trough various means haven't acheived anything over the course of these last years, one lone man certainly won't get it; specially now that IPLY isn't as receptive to consumer feedback as it once was.

This is something that the developers of Fallout 3 even said. BTW- They've all been sacked by Interplay, off to find new jobs at a company that isn't fiscally hosed.

It's nearly impossible, on a short time schedule, to pick up someone else's code and finish it unless it's heavily documented. Fallout 3's code isn't well documented, because they were in a rush to crank it out and commenting code heavily takes a lot of time.

Which leads me to start thinking that...

If they were in such a rush to crank it out, would it have been any good?

No. Did you ever read the story to it?

What an extreme waste of paper. Why not just hang out in front of Herve's house and pester him constantly, at least you may have some success.

I'm sure Inertplay knows that everyone wants Fallout 3. They just don't care so they can make quick money off of shitty games that use the engine of other shitty games. Fallout is in the hands of fans now.

My bet is that their still using the excuse "Well, if we can get our funds back up from the super cheap quick cash in games, we might be able to get enough funds to make Fallout 3 hur hur! =B" I for some odd reason doubt it as such, but egh, I'm open to surpises. As it stands though, its just an excuse and probably Interplays reasoning as to why we should support FOBOS.

Better in our hands, now we control the destiny of the series, not Interplay...

I've had a few anonymous developers offer to give me his address.

No. Link me.

As for the matter of creating FO3, there'll always be a space in my heart that only Fallout 3 or a game with a similar-shaped box can fill, but candles are getting too expensive to keep burning in my window.
