Can anyone recommend a DVD burner.

There a couple but there like 300-400 for the quality ones. I think they are dropping fast, so you might want to wait it out and see what happens. The DVD disks are expensive too, which I think is holding back the prices for a bit.

i dont think its quite right that i can get a dvd burner for around 200 and have to pay 10-30 for one dvd burning cd. i can go buy 2 quality dvds for the cost of one burnable cd.

I got a 4x Toshiba for $99. Works like a charm, and the discs are readable in every other drive I've tried them in, the movies I burn work in my XBOX, and every other DVD player I've tried.

NewEgg only ships in the US. But the burner could probably be purchased from another site for a comparable price.

I recommend this one:

My dad has the one that is one step below it, and I have this one. It is freaking awesome.

The only thing you have to learn is what is the best media. I've not tested out all the media yet for myself.
