Question for Map Makers

I haven't really been into modding lately, so excuse me if this was answered, didn't really follow all the topics.
I'm making a map in which i'm using some of Senor Deluxe tiles. This has been discussed in the past; did we reach some mutual agreement on the way to include them? Should i include a generic folder all here use or just put them in mine?
Cheers,

I think everyone agreed to disagree. Might as well put them in your own folder. Some said to put them in a folder named after the maker. Its pretty much irrelevant though. If you make a map you'll end up having to send the tiles along with it since im sure everyone installs their new tiles and sprites in different locations. I go ahead and rename my sprites and put them in a special folder so I can keep track of what I've used. Maybe do the same thing with tiles (except renaming, dunno)

As long as you give Senor Deluxe credit for using his tiles, there's not much else you must do.
Personally, I've been keeping new tiles in folders named as the author, i.e. the tiles I made are in core/tiles/Max-V/, SD's are in core/tiles/Senor Deluxe/, Req's are in core/tiles/Requiem, etc. Same deal with sprites.

Ok. Thanks. I will of course put the tiles in a senor Deluxe folder since there is no common way. I liked OTB's use of putting everything in his folder even entities and such.
I hope he's done with moving and adds the new sprites in dloads area. Wanted to check 'em out.

Yeah as long as credit is given where credit is due it doesn't really matter how you release them.
If I could get online I've packed up all the custom tiles I can get my hands on into one BOS file (about 12megs worth) so that the tiles always go in the same paths.
Perhaps someone else could do this and release it on a web page so that there's a standard tile pack that everyone can use?
Same with the sprites.

If we'll use the same folder names and locations it wouldn't matter. That's why I've changed mine. E.g. I had Senor D tiles and now I have Senor Deluxe. Bad thing we didn't do that in the past. I have lots of stuff, not sprites or tiles but other stuff, that I don't know if they are part of the game or a modder.
