Geneforge 2

Post by Phias »

Might be a bit old, but I just checked it out yesterday.

It seems very similar to the original game, at times almost directly copying concepts from the original. But the story is decent, despite resembling GF1's. I'm hooked on it right now, and I finally got into Freegate. That's early.

So how did this community accept the game? Was it just TOO much of the same or did it catch interest just like the first game?
Endure. In enduring, grow strong.

You might be better off mentioning this at RPGCodex, though there are people from here who have played it as well.

I think of it as FO1 compared to FO2, in a way that they are both great games, the first being more origional than the second. The second is more fun at times due to some new features and longer story. And they are pretty much the same visually. I enjoyed both geneforges.

I really like spiderweb games, it's great to grab a few and remember that great games aren't always about graphics this and action that...
