I just noticed that File Front has a couple newly released STALKER movies:

Weapons Movie

Weapons Movie #2

I'm not sure of the difference between the two. I downloaded the first one but didn't have the right codec to view it :(

There's "Nvidia Editor's Day" fly-through of the game environment on the DVD which comes free with this month's PC Gamer (UK version anyway...). They've done a very nice job of capturing the bleak "decaying Soviet city" look of the place and one of the weapons shown looks like an AS "VAL" silent assualt rifle fitted with a PSO-1 scope. Let's hope the gameplay lives up to the promise shown in the various taster movies doing the rounds.

Aside from 50 less megs, I don't see a difference between the two movies. Both file names say 800x600, but I'm purdy sure that ain't right.

And besides, when I went to DL the second one, I was getting 8k/sec on a cable connection (versus 100+ when I DL'd the first one). I ain't thinkin' so.
