G Dub..not fucking funny
ASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush poked fun at his staff, his Democratic challenger and himself Wednesday night at a black-tie dinner where he hobnobbed with the news media.
Bush put on a slide show, calling it the "White House Election-Year Album" at the Radio and Television Correspondents' Association 60th annual dinner, showing himself and his staff in some decidedly unflattering poses.
There was Bush looking under furniture in a fruitless, frustrating search. "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere," he said.
There was Vice President Dick Cheney, a frequent butt of gentle Bush ribbing, holding his fingers a few inches apart. Bush said, "Whenever you ask him a question, he replies, 'Let's see what my little friend says."'
And there was Bush again, in an odd contortion in front of his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. He said he was trying to explain to her the foreign policy of Democratic challenger John Kerry.
Bush showed himself playing cards on Air Force One and cracked that he was on his way to an international summit and using a special deck to help him bone up on the names of the leaders he was about to meet.
His slide show segued into a somber ending, showing a group of special forces troops in Afghanistan at the site where they buried a piece of the fallen World Trade Center in commemoration of the dead from Sept. 11.
The late NBC News reporter David Bloom, who died in April from an apparent blood clot while covering the Iraq war, was remembered. His wife, Melanie, talked of her husband's passion for journalism.
About 1,500 guests attended the dinner.

funny he should poke fun about the WMDs and then give a moment of silence for David Bloom. any mention of the 580+ dead US Troops in Iraq?
No.

has anyone seen those bush chaney political campaign ads on tv yet.
it actually says that one of his opponents wants to increase taxes to 900 billion.
at a population of 250 million its 4 dollars a person just to get to 1 billion.
so if you multiplied that 4 by 900 you would get like 3600 dollars a person. tell me that aint impossible without some kind of line sodomizing.
anyways, someone wanna enlighten me on what it actually means because that makes no sense in itself.

You just got to STICK IT TO TEH RICH. That's what democrats like to do. Then they can fund all those socialist beaucracies they create and put their friends in charge of with fat salaries of $500,000/year.Mandalorian FaLLouT GoD wrote:at a population of 250 million its 4 dollars a person just to get to 1 billion.

Well, it was for journalists, and David Bloom is the obvious one to have a moment of silence. And what are you supposed to do "Okay, great moment of silence people! Now another one!"
I find it kind of odd that he could be so self-deprecating, but if anything it reflects well on his character. I'd like to see Kerry do something that did not make him look like a medal hogging socialist epitome of everything wrong with the Democratic Party. Also find it funny that he talks about how he "actually went to Vietnam". Sorry buddy, I can say from experience that you cannot get a purple heart every time you nick your head on the roof with that weird hair, nor can you endanger your entire PT Boat by jumping the fuck off an expect a silver star.

WHat did Kerry do te get those three Purple Hearts anyway? I hear he only spent a day in the hospital for all three combined.
George Bush lowered taxes so the Jews could kill Michael Moore.

1st) Slight pain in the arm.airsoft guy wrote:WHat did Kerry do te get those three Purple Hearts anyway? I hear he only spent a day in the hospital for all three combined.
By that definition every GI who jerks off until he sprains his arm deserves a Purple Heart
2nd)
3rd)Kerry had been wounded three times and received three Purple Hearts. Asked about the severity of the wounds, Kerry said that one of them cost him about two days of service, and that the other two did not interrupt his duty. "Walking wounded," as Kerry put it.
Shrapnel that "hurts him to this day", but required two days out of service. That is two whole days!
And he got a Silver Star for, get this, getting off the boat. To quote a great man-
"A tiger! A fucking tiger! Never get off the fucking boat!"

Better watch out, you might just brood at me some more instead of doing something like constructive criticism. And for your information, liking Linkin Park is something you can always make fun of.
Also, so what exactly was the 2nd injury? It wasn't made clear? Is it even known at all? Did he stub his toe?

no doubt every career politician is a fucking chuckle head, I was just insulted by Bush's attempt at humour. It's like he sent everyone off to Iraq over these WMDs and that joke was kind of like "OOPSIES tee hee." Real fucking comforting when there are people getting their asses shot off over it.

Bush was elected because he had his brother Jeb (with help) rig the whole Florida vote, this was been written in several books and was printed in the Washington post, yet has he been charged with election fraud? Has anyone been given even a slap on the wrists for making a complete joke out of the world’s flagship democracy?
NO.
Add to that the extreme right wing media biais, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer mentality, Bush pulling out of all world environmental agreements, editing legislation to make it easier for his money hungry polluting friends to grad a quick buck at the expense of your environment. The patriotism act!!!! OMG! That gives the Bush government powers that make the worlds dictatorships envious.
Bush needs to be kicked out of the White house, he shouldn’t have been there in the first place and most Americans didn’t vote for him.
I live in England, we voted for Tony Blair, his party stared out so well, but since he got friendly with Bush he has chopped up and sold off lots of out industries to America, his politics have become more and more increasingly right wing, its starting to feel like we are now only a few years away from being another state of America, along with Afghanistan (the Caspian sea oil pipeline) and Iraq (2nd largest producer of oil). WMD’s and links Osama, they never existed and will never be found.
