Phone Trouble

Post by Lunchmeat »

My DSL works but i get no dialtone when I pick up the phone. It's probably because of the housing development coming in next door, but perhaps there's.... more to it.

Thought I'd see what the infinite wisdom of DAC had to offer. Fire away, fuckers.

First thing I would do would be to email the service provider. Or check their site for a maintenance schedule. Could just be a temporary thing.

Ditto, you need a phone line splitter with the dsl modem in one jack and the modem in the other. It should have come in your installation package?

It was just Verizon dicking around with our phone service. Works now.
