PBS used to have telethons or something where they would play an entire season in one night. Those were good times. It's a great show.

yeah?? dunno if i have that here, but i'll dl and keep an eye out for him heheh

here's the first bit of dialogue from the pilot

"This is an S.O.S. distress call from the Jupiter mining ship, Red Dwarf. The crew are dead, killed by a radiation leak. The only survivors were Dave Lister, who was in suspended animation during the disaster, and his pregnant cat, who was safely sealed in the hold. Revived three million years later, Lister's only companions are a life form which evolved from his cat and a hologrammatic simulation of one of the ships crew. I am Holly with an I.Q. of 6,000. That's the same I.Q. as 6,000 P.E. teachers."

Classic British eighties sic-com. For the best one liners and insults it has got to be Black Adder though?

Red Dwarf owns \o/
English comedy tends to be really good.
As far as Black Adder is concerned, I think the first season was the least good, and the one with the Welsh price was the best one.

it is all the same but i still manage to smile at the one liners. red dwarf is like watching a more sensical monty python. but not by much.

blackadder was great, but the ultimate in euro humour was for me, Father ted, or The young ones... leaning more towards the young ones, actually bottom was quite classy too... especially the episode called gas.

Hahaha, Father Ted was amazing. Too bad Ted died.

Tea, father?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Go an, go an, go an, go an...

Father Ted was amazing especially the one where he kicked Bishop Brennan up the Arse. I'd totally forgotten about the Young Ones, I think I'll dig some of them video's out later.

I seriosly hope that they don't rape Father Ted like that. Graham Norton was good in the original however only in very small doses.
