Tornadoes Rule.
There's a tornado about 2 miles north of my house..Going straight through Oklahoma City. Pretty cool, really. Closer than I've been to one since last year. Just thought I'd mention it...No one around to tell it to as the parties don't start for another hour...

I remember some 10 or 15 years ago driving back to Connecticut from Lake George, NY and was in the middle of a tornado. It was literally only a few yards away when it touched down and all I saw was black and stuff flying around. Looked more like tv static or snow than anything else. When I got back I found Hamden and parts of New Haven completely destroyed. For a couple days the sky was this sickly green color from all the plants being torn up and sucked into the atmosphere.
LOTS of cleaning afterwards. There used to be so many trees around areas which are nearly barren today.

We had a huge rain and windstorm a few days back, Tuesday-ish. There were two tornados that touched down in our state (Washington, go figure, that's incredibly rare to have one, let alone two) a ways to the south.
