Well, it's time to show BIS how much we hate them- we already started here:
http://feedback.blackisle.com/forums/sh ... post879384
Post your reasons/comments/questions eiher there or here and I'll post them for you over there. I posted them at #blackisle, but for once I didn't get banned... :bad-words:

Okay, so what if we don't hate BIS?
Do you know what kind of work goes into makeing a game?

Yes, I do. and that is why I don't see why they spent so much time making idiotic pop-culture references instead of spending it on actually finishing the game, fixing the bugs and maybe even play Fallout 1 so they had known the entire back-story! Zax, the super-computer in the Glow, could've told them how all their FEV-thingies were all impossible!

Yup, Tank has a good point with the FEV thing. After all, read the Fallout Bible sometime. It says that everything from ghouls to brahmin to spore plants to radscorpions(not FEVscorpions, BTW) were the result of FEV being released in to the air from the nuclear explosion of the Glow.
If FEV can't be airborne, FEV can't have caused those things.
Of course, you could say that the radiation from the nuclear blasts mutated it.. But wait, that's impossible too.

You gotta love it when imbisiles dig their own graves by avoiding the 30-40 houres it would take to not only do the necessary reasearch, but also have some fun by playing Fallout 1... Idiots!

Saint,
I got it!!! The FEV mutated the FEV!!!

Yup... FO1 vision is 50 pop sci-fi, where they still thought that radiation would "mutate you" (and thus have brahmin, giant scorpions etc...)
The Bible puts this back in a reality perspective where mutation can't simply mutate you like that, and instead blames it all on FEV...

Whisch shows (for god knows what time!) that the developers of FO2 had no idea what they were wroking with...

The devs programmed the game with their eyes closed or maybe watching Monty Pytons (i believe its called that).

If you have so many problems with the game, don't play it....and it's a bloody game, that means it doesn't have to be completely accurate. You can carry a friggin' minigun around and use it in fallout, too. No one seems to complain about the impossibility of that. (And yes, it is impossible, every minigun you've seen in the movies is just that, a movie prop, minus about 200 lbs+ of necessary equipment).
No, I don't have BIS, and I'm not going to over something as trivial as an obscure plot reference in a game that's how many years old now?
Tank, the second you sit down and code a 40 hour roleplayer that's absolutely perfect, I'll respect your opinion on this.

Apparently not. And I would design a game like this if I could. That's why I'm currently learning several programming-languages. But for them not to spend the time doing abit of research is unacceptable to me.

Well, I know HTML (I know, not programming, but useful nonetheless)and have just learnt JavaScript (not using it very much though...). I know Visual Basic and am currently working on C++. Next up is probably gonna be My-SQL so I can make some online-games...
