Why girls hate video games

I know, I know some girls don't hate video games. But, damn near all of them hate it when guys play video games. j
Some girls are cool, and they let you play video games, but some just can't have their only competitor living in the house the same time they are. j
When your dating, movies, TV, and other stuff can't stop you, but games can. Perhaps this is why they hate them. Questions, Comments(lays down the napalm).

Some girls who play games are OK. Example: Insane-Lark, Darque. The majority, in my experience, are attention seekers (visit Mistress' Lair if you dare) and, well, bitches. Maybe it's the way women are conditioned in western society, maybe it's an inherant gender difference.
As for games, I know NWN has a relatively large female following, as does BG2. This does the gender absolutely no credit in my eyes, as Bioware enbody mainstream dirge in my opinion.

My girl is playing Zelda right now. Played Hobbit for a while earlier...Together we own about 50 video games...And I own a little over 200 DVDs. (not counting her 50 or so)

The only girl I know who plays games sometimes is my sister. We would play the marios for nes, a lot of mario kart for snes, and some goldeneye and mario kart 64. Months ago she asked to have the snes so she could play it in her room, so I think she plays that once in awhile. Like she bought some games online within a week that ive been waiting to get for years, heh. Shes not very good unless in mario or something. My older sister used to play the nes with us too, it was a lot of fun but they never liked playing zelda as much as I did.

I think alot of girls play games its just not many of them reach the hardcore stage which is mostly filled with men.

I used to play Gradius III, Sonic (? which one I forget), and Super Mario Kart with my sister when I was but a wee lad. She ran off to college and stole my SNES and Sega. Bitch.

But yeah, I'm with Cloud. Spend some time with your girl for christ's sake. They don't hate the games, they hate that they take you away from her for long periods of time. Kinda like the booze. But apperantly ExtremeDrinker has found the perfect female who crosses into both worlds or something.

I sometimes play games with me lass.
Serioous Sam the 2nd Encounter is the only FPS she likes, so at times we play that in coop....
And supermario bros 3 (We bought a used NES shortly after we moved in together). But mostly we play fighting games on the playstation.
Which, on a sidenote, is pretty much the only reason to get a playstation(or ps2).
Fighting games are fun.

Fighting games against chicks are totally awesome. It just makes me sad that I always get my ass kicked. Seriously, I get a whole can of whoop-ass served to me by a female and I still feel great afterwards - sad, strange or plain discusting? It's got to be weird, but I love it.

Females are of the button-masher variety when it comes to fighting games. Always pisses me off. Here I am trying to throw together a kick ass combo and pull off a neat finisher, and then I get kicked once and it throws everything off.

Yeah, and they keep kicking you, so you have to jump-kick their head till you win, but then it's no fun. I started to think they DO know how to play but they just won't, so we get bored.
