Duck and Cover - the TV series!
[Community -> Update]
Well, not quite. But long-time DAC member RobsH66 has let us know in our forums that his post-apocalyptic animated series, Fallen Angel, has had its first release, in the form of a teaser episode. Here's what RobsH66 had to say:
Hey everyone. It's me, RobsH66, back from the days of yore before the DaC server crash and subsequent administration switch. For those of you who were around back then and don't remember me, I posted a message a long time ago asking for help on a post-apocalyptic animated series I was working on, Fallen Angel.

Anyways, I'm posting to let everyone know that I have released a Teaser episode for the series. This teaser was originally going to be the first episode of Fallen Angel, but due to some changes in planning I've decided to just release it now as a preview for the future episodes, which will be of a much higher quality.

The movie is receiving an unprecedented response on Newgrounds (the leading webpage for non-professional Flash animations), and is currently ranked #1 on the site. Here's the link for anyone who's interested in checking it out:
I hope you all enjoy it very much! Please let me know of any comments or suggestions.
P.S. The help I received when I asked for help here months ago has proven extremely helpful in my development of the series, and for that I've given the DaC community a special thanks in the Teaser's credits.
Very nice. I haven't had a chance to look at it myself (I'm at work), but from the responses so far, apparantly it rules.
Here's hoping there's more to follow!

Just watched it. I must say for a Flash animation it's one of the best I've ever seen. As good, if not better, than professionally animated tv shows. I dig most of the art. Vehicles are definitely the best. Stuff moves smoothly and realistically. My one gripe is the main character chick. She's a tad too anime for me. But really not bad.
Yeah, I remembered seeing the sketch of the girl when I was looking through long dead threads on here. And then when my roommate showed me the teaser, I thought to myself "I've seen that character somewhere before."
Good work.
Good work.

think the art is already pretty nice (except for the main character, which is supposed to be changed anyways). As for mutations... is it post-nuclear or just post-apocalyptic?
But even she isn't as anime as the early sketches let us believe.
I dig it. Rob's kewl.
It was an interesting short. However I wish it wasn't anime at all. The action movie anime gal archetype has long since become a tired cliche. I'd much prefer characters (male or female) that I could relate to as people. Not some one dimensional super hero. Despite this. I think it was a tremendous piece of work.
