Lately I've been listening to Krautrock bands like Can and Neu! a lot, notably Can's earlier stuff (Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi, Future Days) and I like what I hear. I'd like to get more into it because what I've heard I like and krautrockers seem like friendly people.
Can anybody give any advice? Hook a brutha up with some more titles or artists? Or is this too obscure? D:
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
As usual, you mongoloids are nothing but a big bowl of disappointment.

Krautrock is an early 70s form of German rock. It's not very rock like, however, and it's a polar opposite of German death metal and the like. What defines kraut is that it's highly repetitive, experimental, and kind of eerie sounding.

Afraid not, as I'm only generally familiar with the genere. I'm pretty sure you know more about Kraut rock then I.
Maybe you should try listening to some (early) Gong though, It's not Kraut rock, but it has similar elements and is a good listen anyhow.
Okay, cool. Thanks mate. I'd recommend that you should investigate some of it, it's a pretty diverse and interesting field.
