A big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. copyright infringement

Post by Mr. Teatime »

[Game -> Update]

Over on Oblivion-Lost there's a <a href="http://stalker.myexp.de/forum/viewtopic ... translated article typed up from some Russian PC games magazine. It's all about how S.T.A.L.K.E.R. started off, and its development throughout the years.
So...scripts? Waypoints? No. To create some real competition for the famous Western game devs and introduce ourselves to the gaming world, we needed a hell of a lot more than just using old "tried-and-true" methods. We needed to create something of our own, something unique. And again fingers started flying swiftly over keyboards, slowly laying the way to the game of our dreams, one line of code at a time. We were creating the Life Simulation System. Let us just walk outside for a second and look around. What do we see? Some would say: “Well, nothing too exciting actually, just some people walking 'round, birds flying, a few cars driving past over there, the sun beginning to set...what are we looking for anyway, huh? And we would say, that you can notice patterns of real life, patterns everywhere, if you just look close enough. For example, if you go outside several times with an interval of one hour, you would never see the same person in that same place more than once. That is, if he's not a local shopkeeper working 8 to 9, of course. People are always in motion, driven by their needs, their wants, and their expectations. A similar situation exists with birds and animals – they, too, are governed by the same laws, just slightly changed. Hunger drives animals to find food, the instinct of self-preservation forces them to leave dangerous places, or at least seek a safe place to rest. The only problem is...every animal is slightly different. Not all wolves in the Siberian taiga go to sleep at exactly 9am.
JUST RELEASE THE DAMN GAME ALREADY. Seriously, I think I've written an equivalent amount of text covering the game as these developers have in coding it.

When the hell is it going to be released? I haven't been paying attention but... I was under the impression it should've been by now?
